Mike Beltran is a MAGA extremist who would do everything in his power to push Trump's dangerous agenda forward. On his campaign website, Beltran promised to make Trump's Working Families Tax Cuts permanent, legislation also known as the One Big Beautiful Bill, which would kick more than 17 million Americans off their health insurance through Medicaid. Beltran has even said that healthcare isn't a "core function of government."
Healthcare isn't Beltran's only extreme position. He has called for banning all abortions in Florida and has voiced support for more aggressive foreign policy actions, like Trump's initial strikes on Iran.
Floridians deserve better than another out-of-touch extremist.
¶ Beltran Supported Policies That Would Cut Healthcare For Millions Of Americans
- Beltran claimed he supported Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts, also known as the One Big, Beautiful Bill, that kicked more than 17 million Americans off their health insurance and wanted to make the cuts permanent. off of Medicaid.
- Beltran was the only member of the Florida Legislature to oppose the state’s “Live Healthy” proposal. Under the plan, Florida would invest in the state’s healthcare workforce by increasing affordable access to care for providers. - Beltran has long been an anti-choice extremist who said he would “give [his] life” to end abortion. After Florida passed a 15-week abortion ban, Beltran claimed he wanted to ban all abortions in the state of Florida. Beltran even claimed the state’s ban wasn’t extreme at all.
