In May 2026, Jones touted Frontline Policy's endorsement for his gubernatorial bid. In 2024, Jones attended an anti-choice event with Frontline Policy Action. Frontline Policy Action’s mission was to educate others on “the reality of the unborn and the evil of abortion.” The organization also opposed increasing access to birth control, saying it would cause “uninhibited sexual self-expression” and claiming the birth control pill had “lifelong effects on fertility.”

2026: Jones Initially Dodged Questions Over Whether He Would Support Changes To Georgia’s Six-Week Abortion Ban, But Ultimately Said He Supported The Current Law And Said He Was “Proud” Of The Ban. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "Jones was among the state lawmakers who voted in favor of Georgia’s 2019 law outlawing abortions after fetal cardiac activity is detected — or around six weeks of pregnancy. After initially dodging questions Monday on whether he would support changes to the state’s abortion restrictions as governor, Jones said he supports the law as it stands. ‘The law has been challenged on many different levels, and I am proud of the work we did in 2019,’ Jones said. Georgia’s law took effect in July 2022 after the U.S. Supreme Court overruled the constitutional right to abortion.
